The Digiprice’s ARS is made up of three components:
the Digireceiver, the Digitags and the Digisoft.
The Digireceiver transmits data through your local network via Wireless or Ethernet. Its antennas cover the entire surface of the store in order to stay in regular contact with the Digitags. The Digireceiver allows the connection between your database and the Digitags.
The Digitag is initiated when attached to an article of clothing. Once encoded with a regular RFID scanner, it emits a signal at regular intervals, a signal then transmitted by the Digireceiver to the computer.
Afterwards, the Digisoft – our easy to use and fully compatible interface –,performs two simple tasks:

• It confirms that the article of clothing registered is present in the Digitag database.
This is what enables our Continuous Inventory feature.

• It compares the database information with the one emitted by the Digitag. If not matching, the Digisoft immediately updates the outdated Digitags through the Digireceiver, allowing the Digitags to display the right information instantaneously. Therefore, changing an entry in the database leads to the automatic updating of the Digitags: it is what we call the Dynamic Pricing feature.

If the Digitag works like a usual antitheft hard tag, what’s more is that it also sends a signal if someone attempts to neutralize the device, break it or leaves the store with an unpaid item. It is the Smart Antitheft feature.

Finally, the Digitag also indicates when the article is being checked out at the paying desk. It is the Sale Confirmation feature.

The needle can then be removed and the Digitag switches to standby mode.
